The declared candidates for the Local Election of an Ecclesall Councillor to be held on 22nd May are as in the previous post.
To be able to make a decision somewhat better than with a pin and closed eyes we should really know more than a person’s party label. Thus it’s a good idea to see the candidates and question them. At the very least we should be able to read their party’s manifesto for the local election.
The first place to look is on the web.
The LibDem’s manifesto can be found at the following link:

I can find no manifesto for the Conservative Party but the following link may give some idea of wht they intend:

There is a Labour Party website for Sheffield but I can’t find any reference to a manifesto or anything that resembles one. All I get when I access it is an appeal to get involved and help the party. Help the party to do what?

UKIP, widely tipped to do well in the coming elections, don’t have a manifesto either as far as I can see. The best I can find is this:
